I’ve had this little gem in my recipe box for years! Though this recipe doesn’t qualify as a healthy recipe this one can be enjoyed as a special treat every now and again. I made this to ice chocolate cup cakes for my hubby’s birthday. Enjoy this tangy and sweet treat 🙂
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
50 mL butter (1/4 cup)
1/2 cup sour cream
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1. Melt chocolate and butter. Cool about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in sour cream and gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth and easy to spread.
3. This frosting tops and sides two 20-22 cm (8 or 9 inch) cake layers. Cover and store in refrigerator.
