Crockpot Stuffing

I was in charge of the stuffing at one of the Christmas dinners that I attended.  This recipe I kind of threw together and it is tasty, tasty! Way better than the store bought crap. Try it out as a side dish during the year for something different!

Ingredients:

6 -8 cups bread cubes – cube it yourself or buy pre-cubed

2-3 cups of low sodium chicken stock

2 tsp poultry seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic granules

1/2 tsp thyme

1 large onion, chopped

4 celery sticks, chopped

2 tbsp margaine

Directions:

1. Heat margarine in a pan and saute vegetables until soft and tender

2. Heat chicken stock in the microwave until hot.  Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker and heat on high for 2 hours until done.

Yield: Feeds a crowd
